After a very long break from video editing travel footage, I got back into it by making this short video recap of my trip to Los Angeles in January. I was able to do a lot despite getting sick less than halfway through my trip. I've been working on new ways of editing and this video was very different from anything else I've made. Like any other artist, I am proud of how much I've improved but know that there is still much more to improve on. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed making this! My 2018 recap video is finally done! Through the many ups and many downs, 2018 was an unforgettable year where I was able to experience so many amazing moments. Although the first five months of the year were omitted in this video because of multiple laptop and hard drive problems and I still do not have a nice camera to take the nice cinematic shots I want to yet, I made sure to have my phone out to record as much as possible. Thus, with what I lack in cinematic quality, I tried to make up with my editing skills. Nevertheless, thank you to everyone who made 2018 such an incredible year! I wasn't planning on getting this video done until, at the earliest, November, but then I got evacuated due to Hurricane Florence. Thus, I came back home while miraculously not having too much homework and managed to put together this video in less than 20 hours (I cheated and most of these clips were already edited and taken from my study abroad video).
